Know the Perfect Trim for Your 2018 Jeep Renegade®
For several decades, people have grown to love the Jeep with its sleek and suitable design. The unique internal and external features make Jeep the vehicle of choice when it comes to traveling long distances or going on an off-road adventure. The small updates on the 2018 Jeep Renegade from its predecessor made sure to retain its natural charisma and attraction, all while refining the parts that could improve the overall quality of the model.
The Jeep Renegade series is widely popular due to its small size. As of today, it’s the smallest SUV that Jeep has released! Since almost every avid Jeep fan loves the rugged and bulky structure, Jeep made minimal design changes to the exterior and interior. Some of the small changes made appeal to the adventurer inside all of us. Improved steering, partnered with marvelous off-road capability, is making the 2018 Jeep Renegade everybody’s go-to off-road vehicle.
Picking the 2018 Jeep Renegade is an easy choice, but the different trims make it hard to choose which among them would be more suited to your taste. Let’s find out more about the various features of each and which one would be your ideal 2018 Jeep Renegade!
The Sport trim is the least expensive trim of the Jeep Renegade. It has a combined MPG of 26, 160 horsepower, 1.4 liter, I-4 premium gas, and transmission of a 6-speed manual with OD. The sport trim of the 2018 Jeep Renegade is a powerhouse in off-road vehicles already with its specs. Interior-wise, it has a five-inch touch screen TV, Bluetooth audio, and a rearview camera. The Sport comes in two styles: the four-wheel drive, and the 4×4 style.
Costlier than the Sport trim, but it also comes with many interior add-ons that could make the traveling experience more comfortable and relaxing. The Latitude trim has a dual-zone control with auto temperature control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Sirius XM Satellite Radio, Uconnect, and a 7-inch screen. It has the same engine, combined MPG, and transmission as the Sport trim with very little exterior differences.

Think Limited, think fun. The Limited trim has significant differences from the Sport and Latitude. It has a combined MPG of 26, 180 horsepower, 2.4 liter I-4, and transmission of a nine-speed automatic with OD and auto-manual. The interior of the Limited speaks for itself with heated leather seats, weather-sensing wipers, and a large sunroof. With so many additional features, there’s no question it has more wow factor than other trim options. Click here to learn more about the specs and engine features of this trim.
Best of the best? The Trailhawk is the top and most expensive of the 2018 Jeep Renegade choices. It has the same engine specs as the Limited trim, but has a combined MPG of 24. New specs include Jeep Active Drive low 4×4 systems, Selec-Terrain Traction Management System, and 0.8 inches lift with off-road suspension. It comes with the same interior additions as the Latitude trim, with the 7-inch touch screen TV, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Uconnect. All in all, this is the top trim model, but as the costliest, it’s important to weigh the advantages and determine if the additional features are worth it to you.
