Jeep of the Week: Jeep Gladiator on 37’s

July 1st, 2019 by

Our featured Jeep of the Week is a red Rubicon Gladiator. This one came equipped with a plastic front bumper, so we swapped that out with a Mopar steel-front bumper with mirrors. It also has the upgraded LED lighting group. If you haven’t experienced these, (they actually did them on the JL), they are fantastic. Mopar has jumped on the bandwagon and these are awesome. Great bang for the buck if you compare them to the aftermarket products available. The Rubicon also comes with the power dome hood, which looks great.

We spent our time and energy on the suspension: Mopar paired up with Fox shocks to create a two-inch suspension lift. The tires are a 37-inch BF Goodrich MT, wrapped up with an AV spun-copper wheel. The stance is fantastic, especially on the longer body of the Gladiator. It looks really aggressive and fits this truck nicely.

Coming around to the interior, it has brown leather heated seats and an 8.4-inch touch screen radio with navigation.

It’s a three-piece hardtop, just like in the JK and the JL. The pieces are removable, as are the doors. In the rear, it’s the exact same setup as a JL, except you don’t have anything behind you. It includes a grab bar and small hooks behind the driver’s seat. The door cards look very similar, just on a truck frame. Wrapping it up, to the rear is the pièce de résistance for the gladiators, obviously the bed. This one does have the flip-back tonneau cover, as well as the soft-touch close mechanism. It does not have the spray-in bed liner. That’s an upgraded option. The rear bumper also includes standard parking sensors, a back-up camera, and a tow package as well.
