The 2020 Jeep Wrangler is available with two engine options: a 285-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 and a 270-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, which are both available with an eight-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. Three different 4×4 driving options as well as an advanced precision based steering system allow for the 2020 Wrangler to be capable of taking drivers wherever they want to go, whether that be on of or off-road, though off-road is where this rugged vehicle very much stands out. The Sahara model features an available full-time Selec-Trac® 4×4 System that automatically switches from two-wheel drive to four-wheel drive easy traction on slick surfaces such as snow, ice, or mud. Also equipped with a high air intake, sealed electrical connections and moisture-resistant body openings, water is no match for the Wrangler’s maneuverability. High ground clearance enables the Rubicon to traverse rugged grounds including rocky areas. With a 4:1 low-gear ratio, the Rock-Trac® technology allows for the Rubicon to have an 84:1 crawl ratio when equipped with the manual transmission.
Not only is the Rubicon’s technology designed to be equipped for any terrain, the exterior is specifically designed with ruggedness and durability in mind, making this one of the most durable vehicles to ever hit the road. The high strength and heavy-duty skid plates allow for additional protection of key components of the vehicle, such as the fuel tank. Rock rails help protect door sills from any potential debris, and winch-capable steel bumpers are equipped with removable end caps to allow for more flexibility. In 2020, the Wrangler Rubicon allows for the driver to be in the know of what is going on at all times.
